Alert, long-time readers may notice that the illustrations for WotD are not always totally new. Sometimes, like today, the image is a compilation of previously used images.
There is a reason. I’m not a traditional artist. I don’t create my work from scratch. It is usually done by tracing the outline of a photograph and adding details by hand in Inkscape, my favorite digital tool for making images.
On any given day, the word that comes along may need something new, but sometimes the word needs a new combination of old parts. This is one of those times. I suppose you should say. “It’s predictable.”
