Today’s illustration of a partial taskbar (mine) will come as no surprise to all of you who use a computer to access the Word of the Day.

No, that’s not a screenshot. The daily challenge of using Inkscape to design an illustration for the word prevents that.

While doing a daily word, creating the illustration to go along with the word is part of my self-imposed challenge. It isn’t the same effort every day, just similar. I recommend finding a task like this.

Teaching was such a task. It varied from day to day, often from period to period. Keeping the material fresh in my own eyes may even have helped keep it more interesting for the kids.
