postpositive ‘spaghetti carbonara’

Italian, literally ‘charcoal kiln’, perhaps influenced by carbonata, a dish of charcoal-grilled salt pork.

For the record, my wife makes the best spaghetti carbonara I have ever had!

Making an illustration is fun. This one has some reused pieces like the plate and the fork. To that was added spaghetti carbonara and a not-well-aged parmesan cheese container. The first thought was just to do the spaghetti on the plate. Somehow that seemed to be insufficient, so more work followed that start. An hour or so later, the final version is what you can see here.
